Great Manitoba Food Fight got together a lot of small and medium-sized agri-processors in Manitoba for the 12th time on September 19.
Agriculture Minister informed that there were four best participants at the event. Ralph Eichler said that he congratulates all the winners, they are really worthy of their victory, and he has been sincerely glad to see so much variety of food and drinks that were presented at the festival.
This festival takes place every year for 12 years, and its main goal is to maintain the development of small and medium-sized agri-processors in the province.
Three winners received their awards for food and one for alcoholic beverages.
The first prize was given for Louis Lavender Ice Cream, the second prize was given for Curry Masala Hummus, the third prize was given for Chocolate Hazelnut Spread and the fourth prize was given for a saison.
This food festival is very important for the development and maintenance of the economy of the province and all participants make the utmost efforts to prove themselves and show something unusual and interesting.
