A big fire that occurred on Friday took the lives of two people: a 12-year-old girl and her grandmother. Two other family members miraculously managed to leave the house and to survive.
Anita Klaric, the mother of the deceased girl, still can not believe what happened. She said that her daughter was a wonderful child and loved to do baking. She is sure that the girl’s grandmother was trying to save the girl, but, unfortunately, she could not do it.
Sheila Engel, a woman who lives nearby, said that Maria (the deceased woman) was very kind and was always ready for help. She also said that there are so many people who will always remember her.
Anita’s 17-year-old son and Anita’s sister managed to survive. The boy has already been released from the hospital, and the woman is still there. She has many burns but her condition is stable.
The Police said that they are investigating the causes of the fire but at the moment they can already state that it was not an arson.

Anita Klaric’s friends and relatives collect money to help the affected family. They have already collected over $10,000 Anita told that she appreciates the support and assistance provided by her friends, relatives, neighbours and even people whom she does not know to her family.
