A man with amphetamine worth about $3000 was detained by Winnipeg Police

At about 1 a.m. on Saturday, a police patrol stopped a taxi with an unfastened passenger, who turned out to be a dangerous criminal.

Donovan Michael Wieler, 26, faced problems with the law not for the first time. The police had a warrant for his arrest because he was accused of trafficking crimes.

The police immediately arrested him and searched the place in the taxi he was riding. There they found 1.5 ounces of meth, which cost about $3,000 on the streets. He was also seized $395 in cash.

Now the man is in custody.
