Wahbung Abinoonjiiag invites activists to join for a full-day training opportunity, which will engage service providers to learn and apply new skills when working with community members who are living with addictions.
Training will include opportunities to hear from panelists with lived experience, Elders and key-note speakers; increase understanding of substance use; and, meaningful group work with opportunities to learn from one another. Participants will learn new ways of being and doing through an Indigenous lens, which will improve services within their organizations while promoting a safe and healthy community.
There is no registration fee for the event and snacks are provided.
