10th Annual Cultural Awareness Workshop focusing on important topics in the community.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
PART I
o Six presentations on cross-cultural understanding and wage parity progression among diverse immigrant populations within the black community in Manitoba
o Panel Discussion. Panelists will be from diverse cultural backgrounds - as well as non-governmental organizations, Justice, Human Resources
o A moderator will summarize contributions of panelists and facilitate a question and answer period.
PART II
o Two of the Congress’ youth will facilitate small group discussions on the film.
o Breakout groups to discuss wage parity in Manitoba.
o Opportunities for attendees to interact and discuss personal experiences with cross-cultural acceptance (social, economic, cultural) in Manitoba
