The Federal Government Allocated Money for the Purchase of Two Snowblowers for Manitoba Airports

Despite the fact that it is still July, talks about winter and snow are actively being conducted among the officials of Manitoba.

The large amount of snow that falls annually in Manitoba poses a great threat and inconvenience to airports. $619,000 was allocated by the federal government for the purchase of new snow-clearing equipment for the two airports: Bloodvein River Airport and Gillam Airport.

These two airports are very important for Manitoba and provide hundreds and thousands of people with the opportunity to fly to other cities.

Snow-clearing equipment will allow airports, flight crews, and employees to operate without interruption and will support the regional economy and social development of the province.

Bloodvein River Airport will get $201,000 for a new small snowblower. Gillam Airport will get $418,000 to buy a medium snowblower.
