Two Players Have Extended Their Contracts with Winnipeg Jets

On Tuesday, Winnipeg Jets officially announced that the team signed new contracts with defenceman Poolman and forward Dano.

Tucker Poolman signed a contract for 3 years, for which he will earn US$2.325 million. Last season, the 25-year-old American defender played 24 regular matches and 2 matches in playoffs for Jets in NHL, marking himself with one goal and one assist. Also, in the season 2017-2018 Tucker played 17 matches in AHL for Manitoba Moose, where he managed to score one goal and give 9 assists.

We want to note that for the native of Dubuque, Iowa, this season was the first full-time season in NHL, although he was selected in 2013 NHL Entry Draft in round 5 (127 overall).

Marko Dano is a Slovakian 23-year-old forward, born in Austria. He signed a contract for one year with the salary of US$800,000.

In the 2018-18 season, Marko Dano played 23 games for the Winnipeg team in NHL. In these games, Marko managed to score one goal and give two assists. For Winnipeg Jets, Dano spent 3 seasons, and he was selected in the first round (27 overall) of NHL Draft in 2013 by the team Columbus Blue Jackets.
