A busy day for Winnipeg Fire Department

Today was a one busy morning for firefighters in the city with more than just one team working at the scene of an incident.

Wednesday early morning, around 2:50 a.m. a call came in for a Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service. Firefighter crews were sent to a location immediately to the area of McLeod Avenue. When arrived at the location, first responders found a few semi-trailers on fire and had to call in for another team for support, everyone hard to work hard get the situation under control.

The professional attach of all crew members allowed them to get the fire under control within minutes, at the same time a thorough warehouse search for people inside the building and the area check to make sure the fire didn’t spread any further was a success. No victims or injuries reported.

The Fire Department specialists are still working on the scene to determine the cause of the fire, the investigation is ongoing.
