Jackson Jeffcoat signed by Winnipeg Blue Bombers

Our own Winnipeg Blue Bombers is a great team with a bright future and the fans show their support each and every game! The last game was a big failure for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, unfortunately, Calgary team was better and finished the game on top.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers made a pair of signings on Boxing Day. The club inked national defensive back Jacob Firlotte and international linebacker Otha Peters Jr. to contracts.

Also, just recently Bombers spoke person confirmed that the team has retained another significant member of their defensive unit with the re-signing of Jackson Jeffcoat to a two-year extension.

Jeffcoat joined the Blue Bombers as a free agent before the 2017 season and played in 16 games as a CFL rookie, recording 36 defensive tackles, and another three on special teams while adding seven quarterback sacks along with an interception and forced fumble.

Also, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers announced Monday, January 7th that star kicker Medlock – named the Most Outstanding Special Teams Player in each of his three seasons as a Bomber – has agreed to a two-year contract extension.

A 35-year-old Medlock has a career field goal percentage of 86.5 percent – second best in CFL history.

Medlock was named the CFL’s Most Outstanding Special Teams Player in 2016 and has played in 128 career CFL games over an eight-year career.

We all hope a star-kicker will bring all the luck to our team and show only the best results playing for Blue Bombers this upcoming season.
