On Saturday, March 23rd Winnipeg Jets showed the Nashville Predators who is the king on the ice rink with a 5-0 victory.

It was a very lucky game for Connor, he had recorded his first career hat trick in the third period as the Jets clinched a playoff spot. Hayes had a goal and three assists, Andrew Copp also scored and Connor Hellebuyck made 33 saves for the Jets (45-26-4). It marked Hellebuyck’s second shutout of the season and 14th of his career.

As always, Jets showed a great performance and made fans happy with such a great win. Jets captain Blake Wheeler is the NHL’s second star of the week after previous Sunday’s four-goal performance. The 32-year-old led the NHL with five goals and eight points in three games last week.

Wheeler was also named the league’s second star of the week back in November of last year.

The Jets captain, Wheeler always shows a solid performance and leads the team towards the victory despite how strong the opponent. The support from the fans and followers is very important and gives the players a proper motivation to show their best and score as many goals as possible.
