We are so excited for the Mac and Cheese Festival in Winnipeg!
The festival welcomed thousands of visitors July 19th – 21st at The Forks. Since their launch in 2015, they’ve fed almost 500,000 foodies in multiple cities!
It is North America’s largest food festival celebrating everything mac and cheese. Celebrity chefs, savvy cooks, and talented entrepreneurs come together for one weekend to raise funds for charity by creating new concoctions of mac and cheese for fans to try.
This year the event was just amazing, thousands of Winnipeggers and guests of our city joining together to have fun and enjoy the creative and delicious food. There were multiple food trucks and a great selection of anything mac and cheese! Some vendors visited from outside of Winnipeg, for them, this festival was a good opportunity to make their brand recognizable and to share new fantastic recipes with the public.

- Live cooking demonstrations
- Kids playland and noodle art-making class
- Summer nights beer garden and lounge
- Live music bands and special performances
- Giant Jenga, bean bag toss, giant checkers
- Canadian cheese tastings.
The festival was a definite place to be this weekend and everyone enjoyed their time here!
