Join Cynthia Boehm to make your own pair of hand-crafted traditional moccasins in the upcoming workshop! It will begin with a visit behind-the-scenes into the Museum vaults to visit the province’s most prestigious collection of moccasins, Dr. Maureen Matthews will introduce the various moccasin styles of Indigenous communities in Manitoba, and highlight the various decorative techniques including beadwork, quillwork, and embroidery.

This event includes all materials required to complete your own pair of personalized, beaded moccasins. Light refreshments, coffee, and tea will be provided.
