TIFF Bell Lightbox presents "Tales from The Winnipeg Film Group" introduced by filmmakers Kevin Nikkel and Dave Barber. "We’re Talking Vulva" by Shawna Dempsey & Lorri Millan, and "Citizens Against Basswood" by Jaimz and Karen Asmundson dilute the evening with their creativity.
"Tales" is the hilarious, explosive story of how a stubborn band of independent filmmakers created the most highly respected film centre in Canada. It took two years of work and more than 50 interviews to create this story.
