Iceage is Elias Bender Rønnenfelt, Dan Kjær Nielsen, Johan Suurballe Wieth, and Jakob Tvilling Pless. Iceage’s fourth record was played entirely by the band with additional performances by Nils Gröndhal (violin), horns by Kasper Tranberg (trumpet), Lars Greve (saxophones) and Morten Jessen (trombone), and vocals on “Pain Killer” by Sky Ferreira.
Cairo based producer, composer and performer Nadah El Shazly really cooked up a storm last year with her first solo release Ahwar, placing her on The Wire’s list of Top 50 releases of 2017. Nadah El Shazly is famous for making audiences around the world losing themselves in her maze of avant-jazz, electronica and Arabic soundscapes.
