A collection of fibre art pieces, Many Moods of Manitoba, are Selby’s interpretations of scenes of Manitoba. She has come to love and be inspired by the prairie vistas, endless skies, boreal and aspen forests. The quilts are created using three-layer construction, she also employs other fibre techniques including: dyeing, painting, layering, raw edge appliqué fusing, couching yarns and ribbons, cheesecloth application with plenty of hand-stitching and machine-stitching techniques. Looking at these objects, the works of nature come to life, and a beautiful view opens before us.

This event is kid-friendly.
