In this Make & Take you will learn about some of the properties of a Zen Garden and paint a Terra Cotta plate to fill with sand and decorate!

Zen Gardens are miniature landscapes made from arrangements of rocks, plants, and ornaments on sand within a decorative container. The sand is often raked to represent the ripples in water. They are known to bring a sense of peace and are often used with meditation!
Included in the class cost is a terra cotta plate, sand, rake, and 5 tumbled stones. You will have the option to paint your terra cotta plate or leave it natural color.
Other embellishments will be available for an added cost the day of the class.
