Want to learn how to meditate? Did you know that traditionally, yoga was taught to prepare the body for meditation? And in preparing the body for meditation, you also prepare the mind to be calm and focused.

I am teaching a style of Ashtanga Yoga, with a focus on preparation for meditation. In this style, we do not focus specifically on the pose, we focus on how you are, in the pose. I facilitate a conversation between your mind and body, using the breath and movement as the connection.

When the mind and body have reached enough of a state of contentedness and calm, I will then guide the class through a body scan, and meditation. I will also be available for a show time after to answer anyone's questions about Yoga, Meditation, Vipassana, Shamatha, or even Zen.

The event is free, open to all, and first come first serve with a limit of 20 people. Show up early to claim your spot! I will be teaching every Tuesday evening at 6pm.
