Body Mind Ballwork - combines mindfulness & self massage using rubber balls to reduce common tension patterns. (approx 40 min)
Authentic Movement to music (similar to 5 Rhythms Dance - approx 25 min)
Restorative yoga postures - to promote stillness & relaxation (approx 25 min min)
Mother Council using Circle Way dialogue - sharing with intention, listening with attention, deep presence (approx 90 min -weather permiting, outside around the firepit)
Participants are invited to bring an object(s) that represents 'mother' to them. This may be your role as mother/mother figure, or something that represents your mother or grandmother (an object, poetry, song...anything goes). Complexity is welcome here, meaning, if your relationship with your mother (or being one) feels complicated, know that all of you is welcome here.
Intimate environment. Maximum 10 participants. All props provided.
What to bring? Yoga mat, dress in layers (prepared to be outside by firepit for circle), water bottle/tea container. Your authentic self.
