CV2 and PLATFORM centre are so excited to present Diametric: A CV2 Fundraiser.

Join us on Friday, May 17th to celebrate new work by an exciting lineup of writers. Doors at 7:00pm, performances begin at 7:30pm.

This evening will feature:

• Music by Marisolle Negash, songwriter, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist from Winnipeg.

• Readings by Trevor Graumann and Jess Woolford, Winnipeg writers and contributors to CV2's Spring 2019 issue.

• A reading by Doyali Islam, award-winning Toronto-based poet who is featured in our Spring 2019 issue and who will also be launching her brand new book of poetry, heft (McClelland & Stewart).

• Readings by emerging poets Reza Rezaï, Azka Ahmed, Brenden Gali, and Christina McKay, who all recently participated in our BIPOC Poetry Workshops.

Admission is free, but you will receive a recent issue of CV2 with a suggested $5 donation. Proceeds from the event will help support our Emergence Project. Find out more about this project here
