Join MB RICE & Colleen Leduc as we focus on wire sculpting as one of the hundred languages young children use to express themselves.

In this hands-on workshop, teachers will see examples of sculptural activities using wire and mixed-media components, as well as have an opportunity to practice these activities on their own artwork. Drawing materials, clay and wire give voice to children’s gestures, thoughts and mental images. Through materials children have a chance to collaborate, cooperate and exchange ideas and knowledge with each other. The workshop and tour will begin following a short AGM.Colleen Leduc is a mixed-media artist, Art Educator, and is in her final stages of becoming a certified Art Therapist.
