Special presentations this month from two women involved in Additive Manufacturing / 3D Printing Industry.

Ande Brown is a metal artist, blacksmith and welder who is new to Winnipeg. Her work is inspired by combining her background in geospatial technology as well as integrating new technologies such as 3D printing, with her creativity and passion for travel, adventure and maps.Avery-Anne Gervais, 25, is a proud Winnipeger who loves to boast about the community of makers and entrepreneurs that helped her turn an itch for making into a once in a life time opportunity. The RRC Financial Services Graduate pitched hundreds of business ideas to anyone who would listen before one caught the attention of a startup accelerator in Shanghai, China. The hopeful million dollar idea - 3D printed press on nails with amazingly precise 3D details, perfectly sized for every woman’s unique nail-bed. The only problem...Avery had never touched a 3D software, nor printed a single thing before. Avery’s story is one about utilizing your community to make your craziest ideas possible, learning from failures and pushing your boundaries.--
