Join designer and artist Ben Wasylyshen for a free tour of the Cathedral. A towering form on Winnipeg’s Main Street and adjacent to the city’s historic St. John’s Park is Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral. The imposing five-dome church is partially modeled on Kyiv, Ukraine’s Saint Sophia Cathedral and took nearly 14 years to build. Work began in 1949 based on a design by Green Blankstein Russell.
A fire in 2016 caused extensive damage, which has now been repaired.

The church is accessible by an elevator on the North side of the building. Use the parking area at St.Johns Park fence.
Pre-registration is not required.
