Instructor: Victoria McIntosh
Artist and teacher, Victoria was born in Ste. Boniface and raised on Sagkeeng First Nation. She has explored many different spectrums of art from simple drawings to pyrography (Firework.) Her murals hang in various schools in Winnipeg and Ontario, where she has taught expression using Woodlands style with Storytelling. She has studied graphic design and print-making and continues to study Fine Arts.

Indigenous ways of Knowing through the Arts workshop offer participants exposure to a local Indigenous world view through Indigenous art and personal art-making. Explore methodologies, concepts, cultural perspectives, ceremony and art
forms of Indigenous people of Manitoba.

In addition, explore how art can assist in the reconciliation process as a tool for healing, self-understanding and dialogue.
