FUSION MODERN 5K TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE
Planeswalker Points multiplier 3x, Rules Enforcement Level (REL) is Competitive.
Modified Swiss-style (50-minute rounds).
Swiss will consist of a maximum of 9 Swiss rounds, determined by attendance. At the end of Swiss rounds, the Top 8 finishers will advance to a single-elimination finals.
Deck lists are to be prepared before round 1. Deck lists are required and will be collected by a Judge. Do not hand them in with your registration. Players must use the same deck throughout the 5k event.
There will be a short break before Top 8 begins.
For the first game of each match in the Top 8, the player that finished higher in Swiss rounds chooses either to play first or to play second. For subsequent games in each Top 8 match, the usual Play/Draw rule applies (loser of the previous game decides whether to play first in the next game)
FUSION MODERN 5K PRIZES
All prizes are listed in CAD$.
Prizes may be redeemed at a 25% increase in Fusion Gaming store credit.
Prizes are based on an attendance of 150 players or greater. Prizes are subject to a restructure based on attendance.

Players are responsible for purchasing their own method of tracking life totals, card sleeves, and appropriate counters on tokens.

Side Event & selected weekend event prizes are awarded with Fusion Tokens! Your Side Event judge will award you Fusion Tokens based on your results. Enter more, earn more! Tokens can be saved & used to redeem any Prize on the Prize wall. Fusion Tokens will be honoured at both 5k venue & Fusion Gaming 1473 Pembina Hwy.
