A group for people with Parkinson's. A creative outlet for anyone regardless of artistic ability; the goal is to have fun, use different parts of your brain - which may help with symptom management - and to meet others living with Parkinson's in a fun and supportive environment.
The group is free to join, but if possible, please reimburse group leader for supplies purchased; no more than $5/project.
These two different groups meet:
- the second Thursday of each month
- the second Saturday of each month
*** You can be in one or both groups working together or on individual projects.
Time: 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM
Location: Parkinson Canada office - 7-414 Westmount Drive, Winnipeg (scent-free space)
*** NOTE: The Saturday date in September 2019 will be the FIRST Saturday of the month, not the second one, to accommodate Winnipeg's 2019 SuperWalk. ***
