Join us on August 18, 2019 at 13:00 for a free children’s architecture and landscape tour of Central Park! Purchased in 1893, Central Park was one of Winnipeg’s first parks. In 2008, a 5.6-million-dollar revitalization of the park was undertaken. The park, as you see it today, was completed in 2012 and designed by the landscape architecture firm Scatliff+Miller+Murrary. Come learn about the history of Central Park, including its architecture, landscape architecture, and public art.
We will meet at Waddell Fountain, 400 Cumberland Avenue
This event is free, but all children must be registered and accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The tour is wheelchair and stroller accessible.
Recommended for children Grade 4 and up.
