Technique with Jolene Bailie
Jolene Bailie is a choreographer, director, and producer of contemporary dance. Her work expresses a deeply human experience that is honest, complex, and thorough. She has created 39 original works for professional dancers, including ten full length works. She holds a MFA from The American Dance Festival/Hollins University, is Founding Artistic Director of Gearshifting Performance Works and the new Artistic Director of Winnipeg’s Contemporary Dancers. Jolene has been teaching professional level class ongoing since 2004.

Technique with Freya Olafson
Freya Björg Olafson is an intermedia / dance artist who works with video, audio, painting and performance. Her praxis engages with identity and the body, as informed by technology and the Internet. Olafson’s work has been presented and exhibited internationally at venues such as the Bauhaus Archiv (Berlin), SECCA – SouthEastern Center for Contemporary Art (North Carolina), Ochoymedio (Quito, Guayaquil and Manta in Ecuador), The National Arts Center / Canada Dance Festival (Ottawa), and Onassis Cultural Center (Athens, Greece).

Contact Improvisation with Alison Robson
Ali Robson works in both dance and theatre and collaborates across disciplines. She has worked with many artists including Lesandra Dodson, Danielle Sturk, Brenda Mclean, Tom Stroud, Natasha Torres-Garner, Treasure Waddell, Alexandra Elliott, Susie Burpee, and Debbie Patterson. She has performed with companies such as, EDAM Dance, TRIP dance company, and Winnipeg’s Contemporary Dancers. She is the Associate Artistic Director of Company Link, a board member for Young Lungs Dance Exchange and teaches movement for actors at the University of Winnipeg. Ali is a collective member of Weather Parade Dance Theatre.
