A 4-Week Sensory Program for Babies and Their Adults

An infant’s social understanding starts at home and expands as they explore the world. These interactions significantly influence how and what children learn.

This program helps Museum Babies shape their knowledge and understanding of the world through sensory experiences, play, and exploration. Museum Babies will learn by interacting with and manipulating objects from the Museum’s Education Collection.

Museum Babies will focus on different themes when they visit each week, enjoying hands-on activities, creating take-home crafts, and singing songs and nursery rhymes. After the program, everyone is welcome to explore the Museum Galleries for as long as they like.
