The following institutions will help people to hide from the heat in Winnipeg

This week, the air temperature in Winnipeg will be higher than 30 degrees. According to some forecasts, this weather can last until October.

Due to the abnormal heat, many public places equipped with air conditioners will be open to all visitors. We offer you a list of places where you can relax and get away from the heat:

·Entertainment centers

·Libraries

·Indoor and outdoor swimming pools

·Urban fountains

City authorities warn that the risk of fires increases because of too high temperature and frequent use of climate technology. The City Council urges you to follow the safety rules and turn off the appliances from the power sockets if you do not use them.

Also, do not leave small children and pets for a long time alone, without access to water or under the sun.

Do not forget to visit relatives and seniors to make sure they are okay. In times of hot weather, these categories of people risk their health a lot.
