Let it snow! Winnipeggers are concerned: they can celebrate Christmas without snow

Winnipeg residents are concerned - this year they can celebrate Christmas without snow.

If this happens, for many people such a Christmas will be the first in their lives. Christmas without snow is a rarity for Manitoba, and people are waiting for a snowy holiday mood this year really very much.

According to data provided by the meteorological service of Canada, only four cities in the country will definitely see snow at Christmas, and Winnipeg is not on the list.

Over the past 60 years, there was no snow on this wonderful holiday in Winnipeg only once.

Residents of the city hope that the snow that is lying on the ground will be there until December 25, in case it is not going to fall.

People from cities in the northern part of the province are luckier. According to the weather forecast, snow will come to their region straight on the Christmas eve. The same is about the central part of Manitoba.
