St. Boniface cheese shop offers a reward for identifying cheese burglar

This accident happened on Tuesday at night. At about 12.30. the store owner received a phone call informing him that a robber had broken into his fromage shop on Boulevard Provencher. The cameras showed that the person broke into the store through the back door.

After inspecting the kitchen and two commercial coolers, the man disappeared. The owner cannot believe that the burglar did not find anything interesting for himself, because the store had stocks of such expensive foods astruffled brie, raw-milk tomme or Italian prosciutto.

Despite the absence of a robbery, Jean-Marc Champagne asks local residents to help identify the person from the security cameras and promises a reward in the form of free annual cheese purchases in St. Boniface cheese shop.

Also, according to the statement of the owner of Fromagerie Bothwell, the security system will be improved in the store to avoid any unfavorable situations in the future.
