$210K for KidSport thanks to the Mark Scheifele’s Golf Classic

Thanks to the efforts of Winnipeg Jets players, Quinton Howden and Jill Officer athletes, it was possible to collect more than $210K for KidSport. Fees from the annual golf tournament allowed collecting this impressive amount of money for children.

A hockey camp took place simultaneously with the golf tournament. 224 children participated in it. The audience was delighted with the event. The athletes managed not only to collect a nice sum of money for children but also arranged an unforgettable show for all those present.

In total, the two events have collected about $620,000 since 2015. All collected money will be spent on sports competitions financing and young athletes training. This initiative allowed many children to realize their sporting potential and demonstrate their leadership skills. Thankfully to this opportunity, many children will become future world hockey stars.

According to Mark Scheifele, a whole team of people worked tirelessly to realize the most cherished childhood dreams. The athlete also noted the huge contribution of Winnipeg Jets team to the overall development of sporting events.
