Man died in crash

A tragic accident happened near Lowe Farm, a large farming community in southern Manitoba. Last Friday around 2 pm a pickup truck got off the road and rolled a few times, killing a driver and sending a passenger to a hospital. 

Manitoba Police responded to a call about a crash near Highway 23 north of Lowe Farm, when arrived at the scene, officers found a truck off the road with two people inside. Apparently, a truck was heading north, when a driver lost control on a gravel road and the truck moved to a side, off the road and rolled a couple of times. The driver died at the scene, the elderly woman, who was a passenger, was delivered to a hospital in stable condition. 

As per police officers, both male 53-year-old driver and his female 53-year-old passenger were wearing seatbelts, no signs of alcohol being a reason for the accident. No other vehicles were involved in a crash. 

As of now, RCMP officers still gathering the evidence at the scene and continue to investigate the accident details to determine the reason of why the driver couldn’t handle the truck and what led to this tragic outcome.
