Man arrested with 2 guns and a hunting knife

Winnipeg Police arrested a man with a couple of guns and a meth. Past Sunday evening police got an anonymous tip about a man driving around Wolseley neighborhood with firearms in the car. Around 9 p.m. officers located empty vehicle parked on Honeyman Avenue and found the driver in one of the nearby restaurants.

A 30-year-old male was arrested with a gun and a revolver, a big hunting knife, also police found meth for over two thousand dollars on him. Guns were fully loaded with a lot of extra ammunition in the vehicle. Arrested man of Neepawa is facing multiple firearm-related and drug possession.

The arrest was done in a very professional manner, nobody was injured. Winnipeg Police investigation continues, a suspect is in custody, officers still getting the facts together and arrested male`s statement to explain the origin of the meth and weapons, as well as his intentions with such large quantity of drugs and ammunition.
