The Winnipeg show will take place on September 28 at the Bell MTS Place. Other Canadian cities, that are included in the tour of the legendary ex-Beatle, are Quebec City (Sep. 17), Montreal (Sep. 20) and Edmonton (Sep. 30).
“Get ready to rock, Canada!”
In his blog, Paul left a message for his Canadian fans. The musician said that he and his band always had a great time when performing in Canada. He added that they were looking forward to getting back here in September to have other great concerts.
Besides the famous and beloved songs, Paul says that he is going to freshen up the setlist with some new tracks from his recent album Egypt Station.
After the Canadian concerts, McCartney will have two shows in the United States and another two in Japan (October / November). Then Paul will return back to Europe. During the European part of the tour, the ex-Beatle will visit France, Denmark, Poland, Austria, and Great Britain. In the homeland, Paul will have three concerts. One of them will take place in his hometown, Liverpool.
The Freshen Up tour will end in summer in the USA, where McCartney is going to have five concerts (May / June). The last tour show will take place in the City of Moline, IL.
