A boy from Winnipeg organized a vote for the mayor

All Winnipeg residents can make their choice in favor of one or another candidate and put canned goods in the necessary basket.

There will not be any election of mayor in the coming months, but this does not prevent people from making their choice. The votes will not be counted officially and will not have power on the next election, but why not to support the boy in his undertaking?

Maxwell Oliver is eight and he decided to do a great thing: he put pictures of all possible candidates who can run for the next mayor position and placed empty baskets under them near his home. Then he asked people to make their choice and to put canned goods in the basket of their choice.

All the food that he will collect will be donated to Winnipeg Harvest. 1:18.

He called it Cast a Can.

The boy is very smart and came up with a great idea, and what do you think?
