The 38th annual Terry Fox Run

For almost 40 years now The Terry Fox Foundation has worked to achieve Terry`s vision, a world without Cancer.

This year the 38th annual run, also called a Marathon of Hope, took place in Assiniboine Park, the park features a zoo, conservatory, outdoor theatre, and other attractions. Last year the run attracted over 1500 participants. This year’s quantity of participants will be disclosed by the event organizers after the run. We know that before the run started, the event had raised a little over $50 thousand dollars.

Every year Terry Fox runs are held in over 9000 locations across Canada with the goal of raising funds for cancer research. The message that Terry sent to the world brings people together and unites all ages and races in one big honorable cause, to understand and beat cancer.
