The provinces of Manitoba, Prince Edward Island, and British Columbia also issued invitations this summer. Manitoba Stream Express Entry held three raffles in June and July (June 22, July 6 and 9), and a total of 448 letters of invitation were issued for candidates with a minimum of 519 points. This path is open to candidates who meet the criteria and have experience in one of the popular professions in the province. The Express Entry for Prince Edward Island issued invitations three times this summer (June 21, July 19 and August 16).

On the west coast of Canada, British Columbia continues the usual weekly practice of inviting candidates through the Express Entry. British Columbia did not specify how many candidates will be invited to each drawing, but the scores ranged from 87 to 96.

Alberta Express Entry:

On June 14, Alberta announced the long-awaited start of its Express Entry flow with the new Alberta Opportunity Stream.

Candidates who have demonstrated strong ties with Alberta and who can help support the priorities of economic development will be invited. Qualified candidates with open profiles in the Express Entry pool will be selected directly by the Alberta Immigrant Nominees Program (AINP). Candidates for Express Entry can apply only after an AINP invitation.
