22-year-old Winnipegger arrested for a store robbery

City police arrested a young male suspect. Later he was identified as Moses Bradley Swan, a 22-year-old citizen of Winnipeg.

After the Monday evening convenience store robbery on Hargrave Street, police were looking for a thief. Shortly he was located at Gary Street after he attempted to steal lottery tickets from the store, Swan was detained and now in custody.

Moses Swan now faces multiple charges, among them robbery, carrying a concealed weapon and four counts of failing to comply with probation. Since he did two thefts in a period of 24 hours, officers think this is not his first store theft, so they will be also looking into his possible participation in other similar crimes, that happened in the area recently.
