Early voting in Winnipeg: where and when the stations will be opened

Starting from Monday, all those residents of Winnipeg that can not visit the forthcoming elections will have an opportunity to come to polling stations to give their voice.

The first such stations will operate in the building of the City Hall and Bell MTS Centre. All residents who need to fill out the ballot in advance can do it from 9 am on Monday.

Preliminary polling stations in the city hall will work all weekdays until October 19, except for Thanksgiving Day. This voting site will close at 4 pm.

For those who need to vote at a later time, the voting station at the arena will work until Wednesday. It will close at 3 am. Also, early voting will take place at the University of Winnipeg. This site will be open on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9.30 am to 3.30 am.

At the weekend for early voting you can visit several locations in the city such as Kildonan Place Shopping Centre, Grant Park Shopping Centre and Polo Park Shopping Centre. The University of Manitoba and the Red River College will open their doors to preliminary voters next week.

Electoral stations to vote beforehand will also work at Garden City Shopping Centre and St. Vital Shopping Centre from Oct. 12 till Oct. 14. October 16-18 such stations will work in all Winnipeg community centers.
