Last Friday, September 28th the father came over to the school to pick up his two children ages 6 and 8. But to his surprise, he has informed the kids were not there, even more, they hadn’t attended the school on September 27 and 28.
At that time kids were on a legal visit with their mother, who is not to be named to protect the identity of the children. Brandon RCMP started the investigation and obtained the information that children were last seen in Virden, Manitoba on October 1st. The arrest warrant was issued for the woman, mother of both kids.
Just yesterday, on October 2nd police located the children in St. Albert, Alberta, their mother was arrested and now remains in police custody. Both children are in good condition and now safely returned home to their father. Police are still investigating the incident and working with a woman and her statement. The official police report will be presented later when the investigation is closed.
