Drug trafficking problem is on a rise in Canada for the last couple of years. The bigger problem is that drug dealers are always armed to protect their product and fight off competitors and the territory of distribution.

Just last week, September 26 RCMP in Flin Flon carried out a massive bust operation and seized large quantities of marijuana, pot edible products, cash, and guns. RCMP and tactical units arrived at the residential area on Princess Boulevard and along with the illegal items seized arrested two suspects. The items seized from the house on Sept. 26 include more than 3 kg of cannabis, more than 3 kg of cannabis-infused edible products, more than 3 kg of cannabis-infused jam, 12 long-barreled firearms, and a “large sum” of Canadian cash.

Suspects were identified as a 36-year-old Andrew Lyle Wotton and a 55-year-old man, whose name is not released yet by police. Investigation still continues, the official statement will be released later.

Another big bust was done by Winnipeg Police just a month ago, August 25th Winnipeg police arrested four suspects and confiscated drugs and weapons related to methamphetamine. Officers searched a home on Jefferson Avenue also related vehicle was stopped and searched on Main St. and seized two airsoft handguns, two rifles, ammunition, body armor, also meth and prescription drugs.
