Everybody loves fall and the colors it brings to our streets and parks. Some areas of the city look especially beautiful this time of year and you can see in many locations of the Winnipeg people are celebrating fall with food festivals and other interactive activities.
Last Sunday, September 30 one of the Winnipeg neighborhoods Linden Woods held the annual community marathon. The run was a part of 2018 Linden Woods Classic and Fall Festival, featuring MRA Classic Series 10k run, MRA Youth Series 5k or Mighty Mile run. The race took place in Van Walleghem School, 1 Princemere Road, Winnipeg, MB.
This year hundreds of people attended the festival and enjoyed their time with some yummy food and drinks, interesting activities and games, good company and of course the marathon! Over 200 runners participated in this year’s running challenge, some were there just for fun and to try themselves for the first time, but many runners were actually competing for the first place in their category.
