Heavy snowfall can come to Manitoba

Winter comes to Manitoba.

The weather deteriorates rapidly and residents of the province can see snow already on Wednesday.

As the forecast shows, starting from morning more than 10 cm of snow may fall in some parts of Manitoba.

Environment Canada informed that a low-pressure system forming over the American Midwest can lead to a heavy fall of snow in the south and east of Manitoba. By the evening, the mark of the fallen snow can reach 15 cm.

Whiteshell and eastern Red River Valley will have less snow: about 5-10 cm.

The following parts of the province should pay their maximum attention for the warning:

Buffalo Point Res. and Northwest Angle Prov. Forest

R.M. of Piney incl. Sandilands and Sprague

Environment Canada recommends residents of the province to monitor forecasts and to be prepared for a sharp cold snap.
