Cliff Graydon removed from PC caucus

Past Monday morning, October 22nd Progressive Conservative caucus gathered to discuss and make a decision about the fate of one of their own, a member, who got in trouble for inappropriate behavior at work.

Cliff Graydon, a Manitoba government backbencher who made inappropriate comments to at least one female staff member has been ousted from the Progressive Conservative caucus. PC Caucus Chair Wayne Ewasko said in a statement Graydon has been removed “effective immediately”. “While we do not take this decision lightly, it has become apparent that previous attempts with Mr. Graydon to address a pattern of inappropriate behavior have not succeeded.”

Every person has to realize that any inappropriate behavior at work will be noticed and reported, especially public people, like politics, working among hundreds of people like them, who will not tolerate such predator-like acts and will not stay quiet about it.

Graydon has acknowledged making comments to one staff member, announcing last week he was taking medical leave and would not be seeking re-election.

At the beginning of October, media were publishing some reports, that contained information for the unnamed sources about the events during which Graydon invited two women on separate occasions to sit on his lap and invited another to lick food off his face. Such comments and invitations surely show a twisted mind of a sexual predator, such harassment like will be judged publicly and will not be tolerated at any workplace.
