The Manitoba government has a new five-year plan for tire recycling

Manitoba approved a new plan for tire recycling.

Manitoba showed excellent performance on this issue last year- tire utilization was 94%. The plan for the next 5 years not to make this figure less than 90%.

One of the points of the new plan is to make the awareness of the local residents higher. Another point is to facilitate recycling for people who live in the northern regions of the province.

People can bring used tires to more than 1500 special places. All the places take also tires from SUVs and bicycles.

As it became known, Recycle My Electronics will also get a new five-year plan.
