Winnipeg Santa Claus helper died

Brian Sanderson had been Santa Claus helper at the Polo Park for more than 25 years. On Halloween he died when he was sleeping.

This information was given to the Police by Lillian Harrison who has been working together with Brian for about 8 years. Lilian said that the man was a real Santa- he had his own beard, and every time when one of the children uttered the name of Santa he always said Ho Ho Ho.

Besides being Santa's helper, Brian Sanderson also took part in Winnipeg’s Santa parade for many years in a row. The woman also added that Brian truly loved Christmas. He always had a sparkle in his eyes and the atmosphere of the holiday surrounded him every day.

Harrison expressed her gratitude to all who supported her in such a difficult day. According to the woman, those who expressed condolences and support turned out to be much more than she could have ever expected. She is confident that Brian will be remembered for many years.

Lilian also said that she would no longer work as Santa's assistant, she was injured recently, and she needed to take care of her health. The woman has no doubt that this year Christmas and the parade will be no worse than before and the residents of the city will feel all the magic and sorcery of the holiday.
