Montreal Canadiens beat Winnipeg Jets

Winnipeg Jets is an amazing team and has a huge army of fans and supporters. Go Jets Go! Every game there are millions of fans watching our team perform on TV and support at a game in person, all hoping for a win and the first places for Jets.

Unfortunately, the last game was not successful for our team. On Thursday, February 7th Montreal Canadiens got a win 5-2 over the Winnipeg Jets. Both teams worked hard and showed great skills, but the Canadiens overpowered the Jets.

Captain Shea Weber, Phillip Danault and Jesperi Kotkaniemi also scored for the Canadiens (31-18-6), who improved to 8-1-1 in their last 10 games. Carey Price earned his seventh consecutive victory with a 32-save effort.

The Canadiens played some of their best hockey of the season against one of the league’s strongest teams. Montreal outshot Winnipeg 53-34. Montreal jumped ahead of the idle Boston Bruins into third place in the Atlantic Division, one point behind the Toronto Maple Leafs.
