Winnipeg Jets is an amazing team and has a huge army of fans and supporters. Go Jets Go! Every game there are millions of fans watching our team perform on TV and support at a game in person, all hoping for a win and the first places for Jets.
Unfortunately, the last game was not successful for our team. On Saturday, February 16th Ottawa Senators got a win 4-3 over the Winnipeg Jets. Both teams worked hard and showed great skills, but the Senators overpowered the Jets.
Tierney set up Dzingel’s goal at 3:44 of overtime as the Ottawa Senators got their third victory in the past five games.
“Great game,” Nilsson said. “To be able to be the better team for a full 60 minutes against a team like Winnipeg, it shows a really strong effort from us and a really good team game, so we definitely deserved the two points tonight.”
Winnipeg led 2-1 after the first period and it was tied 2-2 after two. The game was a big loss for a team and the fans, who came to support and cheer for their very own Winnipeg Jets to win.
