Four-year-old girl dies in hospital after being struck by car

On Monday, March 18th a terrible accident happened on northbound Isabel Street between Ross Avenue and Logan Avenue. First responders were called and had to attend a child and woman are in critical condition after they were hit by a car near the Slaw Rebchuk Bridge.

The witnesses, who were on the scene said that it appeared to involve a young girl no more than five, and her mother.

A four-year-old girl has died from injuries after being hit by a car on Monday afternoon. A family, a community, is grieving the loss of a little girl who was struck by a car while crossing Isabel Street.

Police are still working to determine exactly where the pair crossed the road, if the lights of the crosswalk were activated and if there was anything blocking the view of the driver.
